Courtyard at Chelsea International Hostel - opportunity for making new friendships

The Chelsea International Hostel is located in the historic Chelsea District of Manhattan. Just north of Greenwich Village and south of Midtown Manhattan, it is between 7th & 8th Avenues.

Our Hostel was first opened in 1993 with only 40 beds, we now have 350 beds making us the largest independent Hostel in New York City. The Chelsea International Hostel is located in the historic Chelsea district of Manhattan – just north of Greenwich Village and south of Midtown Manhattan (between 7th and 8th Avenues). The Chelsea district has the lowest crime-rate in all of Manhattan and we also provide a professional security staff. Our property is maintained around the clock by a highly motivated maintenance and maid staff and our front desk personnel is comprised of people familiar with New York and the surrounding Boroughs.

We have an outdoor courtyard, two common dining areas and two common kitchens with Televisions. Free continental breakfast is served in our dining areas. You will be welcome to enjoy a variety of bagels, muffins, cereal, fresh fruits, coffee, milk and tea.
