A peaceful oasis in the middle of it all! Brand new, quality space right in the center of Manhattan. Not just a place to sleep but a unique New York experience!

In the heart of Manhattan, on the top floor of a turn-of-the century building, we created a calm, cozy and intimate atmosphere where after a tiring day of traveling or sightseeing you can relax and really feel at home. We set up our hostel in one of those interesting a loft spaces, now so unique to New York housing, that were previously used for commercial purposes. Staying with us you can not only enjoy quality accommodation at bargain price but get a glimpse of New York as only locals know it!

Most of our rooms are spacious by New York standards and have huge loft-style windows looking onto the Empire State Building (twin rooms) or historic buildings of 5th Avenue and 31st Street (double rooms). However, if you are on a tight budget, we also offer smaller rooms with no views for a cheaper price (economy and budget double rooms) .

Urban Oasis is a small and homely hostel with a limited number of rooms and guests so if you want a quiet place, personal attention and good accommodation at a reasonable price, it is definitively a hostel for you!

Unlike some hostels advertising nice pictures, ours ARE REAL, and all rooms and areas of the hostel are truly beautiful, and provide a real luxury hostel experience never seen in a hostel before. We offer the most space per bed of any hostel. All of our Marble bathrooms are single use for your sense of privacy! We have comfortable public areas, decorated in modern style. Our outside backyard is an oasis in the middle of New York City. You won’t find your typical run down second hand furniture style hostel here, everything is new and contemporary!

We have very large and spacious family rooms. There is a room with a queen size bed and a second room with bunk beds for the children. An excellent way for families to be able to afford a trip to NYC!

The Wanderers Inn West gives our guests the unique opportunity to experience a genuine New York way of life.

Located in historic Harlem, the Wanderers Inn “West” gives our guests the unique opportunity to experience a genuine New York way of life. Our hostel is conveniently located three short blocks north of the 110th Street subway station. Central Park is only three blocks south.

Rooms sleep 8 to 12 people and are air-conditioned in the summer time. All rooms have their own bathroom. In the dining area has a fully equiped kitchen and connects to the backyard, which has a nice deck. A fully equipped kitchen and internet access (charges apply). Enjoy FREE continental breakfast, a variety of bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee and fruits, every morning starting at 8:30 AM.
